The 6th Annual Holiday Giving Celebration generated $20,310 in contributions from 45+ generous business and community members, for the benefit of 40 participating local nonprofits.
The projects and organizations represented include a full range of community efforts from book drives for area children, food bank and clothing pantry support, animal welfare and rescue, PTO and boosters clubs and a broad and bountiful variety of arts programming in our community. Another exciting new project is the collaborative to develop amenities in northwest La Veta for the enjoyment of both residents and visitors featuring plans for a Pump Park, Dog Park and Sky Park.
As explained in the video promo, Huerfano County is truly filled with dedicated and passionate folks working hard for the many causes they believe in. The Holiday Giving Celebration is a special opportunity to highlight and support these efforts and valued programs and to connect and credit the businesses and communities members who help fund their mission and projects.
