The Chamber of Commerce and Business Alliance to celebrate new ownership, and new patio at Crafty

Huerfano County – The Spanish Peaks Chamber of Commerce and Spanish Peaks Business Alliance are pleased to announce a ribbon-cutting celebration for Crafty Canary Brewery, located at 107 E. 5th St, Walsenburg. The ribbon cutting event will take place at 2pm June 12th. All necessary COVID precautions will be taken.

The Crafty Canary offers house-crafted beer and cocktails, inventive mocktails, a little food, and a lot of great times! The Canary was purchased by Walsenburg native Aubrey Lykins in July 2020. Of 2020 Lykins says, “Due to all of the incredible support we received from our patrons and community, we survived and thrived! Here's to all the Dirty Birds who kept us flying high!” And now the Canary has an outside space! The outdoor patio offers a great space to enjoy their beer and cocktails while watching the sunset.

The celebration begins June 12th with a ribbon cutting at 2pm. A complimentary glass of bubbly will be provided for the ribbon cutting and then food and drink will be available for purchase. “Bo Jingles” and “Brent Loveday & the Dirty Dollars” will be performing at 6pm!

The Crafty Canary is located at 107 E 5th St., Walsenburg and open Wednesday and Thursdays 3-9pm, Friday and Saturday 11am- 9pm. Extended hours coming soon!
