The Spanish Peaks Chamber of Commerce and Spanish Peaks Business Alliance are pleased to announce a ribbon-cutting celebration for Kent Studio, a new business located at 134 W 7th St. in Walsenburg. The event will take place May 7th at noon. All necessary COVID precautions will be taken.
After completing her apprenticeship in Denver in 2013 with a certificate in body art Katie has been creating living canvases of art ever since. “I wanted to open a clean, classy parlor here in Walsenburg,” says Kent, “The kind of parlor that exceeds expectations of a traditional tattoo shop where you can expect professional work completed in a professional manner. A parlor where everyone feels welcome.” Weeks of extensive updating has transformed the space that was formerly Maria’s hair salon into a crisp new parlor, decorated in white, gray, and red. As a gifted artist Katie can bring your ideas to life.
