Collaborative to Develop Northwest LaVeta into an Outdoor Recreation Destination for Residents and Visitors!

La Veta Trails is asking for your help to fulfill a trail vision. The Town of
La Veta, La Veta Trails, and the La Veta Public Library are once again
collaborating to raise $25,000 to design and construct three
community-identified priorities – a Pump Park, Dog Park, and Sky Park in the northwest section of the Town on land owned by the Town. In 2019, the La Veta community identified the three priority amenities in the La Veta Parks, Open Space, and Trails Master Plan.
With your generous support, we can raise the matching funds needed to design and construct the following:
 Pump Park for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy a variety
of wheeled sports.
 Dog Park so dog owners have a safe, fenced area to play with
their dogs of all sizes, and dogs can play with their doggie
friends.
 Sky Park, so star-gazers have a place to enjoy the stars in an
international dark sky destination.
We share a mission to engage the community in developing, using,
maintaining, and promoting recreational amenities that get people
active outdoors. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, La Veta Trails serves as the
recipient of the funds raised on behalf of the collaboration.
Thank you for your support!
