Currently, the Friends of the La Veta Library are fundraising for the expansion and renovation of The Book Nook. The funds received will ensure that we become ADA accessible, and provide a larger and more up-to-date space for the community. Our ability to sell a larger number of weeded books from the Library and from donors at very affordable prices, then returning that income to the Library, supports community programs as well as improvements to the Library itself.
Friends of La Veta Public Library
The Friends of the La Veta Public Library serve as an educational, economic, charitable, and labor source for many of the projects, undertakings, studies, and other activities of the Library. Through our used bookstore, The Book Nook, as well as generous donations and countless volunteer hours, we continue to provide much-needed assistance to a true community gem.
