My name is Veronica Vigil. Cheyenne Barela and I are the leaders of the
Columbine 4-H Club here in Walsenburg. We had big plans for fundraising the past two years, but like so many other things, the COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to our plans. In the past we have used the money our 4H kids have raised to pay for; enrollment fees, county fair fees, club shirts, project manuals, educational activity supplies, the list goes on and on!

As club leaders, we would never want a child not to join and excel in 4-H because their family could not afford the expense. For this reason, we try to use club funds to take the burden off of our families as often as we can. At this time, our club is reaching out to our local community asking for donations so that we can continue to support our families and give our kids the educational experience that they deserve. Every little bit helps and we appreciate any and all donations!
